Window motor removal

I got new gears to fix my window motors but can't get those darn rivets out a actually broke two drill bits trying to drill them out. Does anyone know an easier way to get them out, also the wire connected to the window motor with the spring does that unscrew from the top or what? Thanks

Drill drill drill,. you can also grind the head of the rivet off.
If you broke two bits I would say you need better bits or the correct size.
I have never had an issue drilling them out, they are soft aluminum rivets and should be easy.
once you get the motor loose you will see how it unplugs
This job is a PITA and can take HOURS your first time....
