window stopped working, what part is this?

passenger driver side window stopped moving up and down

sounded like i heard something break off and fall in the door panel when it quit

can hear that motor still engauges when i push the window switch for up and down and motor will work thru the cycle and stop at the top point (where the window would be all the way up and closed)

what might have broke?

Your best bet is to pull the door panel and vapor barrier and take a look.

Window regulator. They suck in these, its a cable system with lots of plastic pulleys and crap.
