im sorry if this has been talked about i did a quick search but dont have much time. i had my truck broken into last night and they smashed the rear drivers door window. i got a new window put in but the tint is wrong. the glass shop said there was only 1 tint option for my truck, 94 eddie bauer. the window looks terrible i just need to know what kind of tint i need mine looks reflective and the new one is darker with no reflection. thanks in advance for your help.

Factory tints are weird, they can't be matched. I'm unsure if the dealer did that or a tint shop. I assume a dealer.. You're best off finding a tint shop around there. My tint matches very well, just gotta find the right shop.

Does the reflective color tint have a gold/brownish tone color to it? If it does it means the tint is inside the glass and can't be changed or removed. Even if you put limo tint on all windows to try to even it out.

Man, for your sake, I hope I'm wrong. Good Luck!:(

thanks for your replys guys but i really dont llike those answers. it does have a golden brownish color to it. is there anything i can do about it. man i hope so it does look pretty bad.

i got a call from the glass shop and they took the tint code off my window and said they managed to find one in a wrecker with the same code. hopefully this one will match better even if its not exact.

Good luck!!! They probably put in black tinted window instead of the "Privacy" glass. Privacy glass is bronze tinted. But since they found one, I'm sure it'll match pretty well.
