I have a 2000 Explorer Sport 4x4 and would like to remove the two plastic cowlings at the base of the windshield under the wiper arms. They are faded black plastic, and I would like to paint them.

Please let me know if you can help.

Thanks Al! I can't seem to find the retaining screw. Can you point me to a location. I understand the drivers side, but where is the retaing screw?

Regards,

Don

Pics..

It looks like the driver's side... This was, of course, before I broke it...
