ok so i got a junkyard windshield wiper reservoir, low and be hold... the motor to send the fluids upto the window is shot.. i still have my old one that had a working motor.. how do you take out the motor in the reservoir?

Can't remember for sure on the Explorer, but usually if there are no fasteners the motor just pulls out. Give it a good yank and it should come free.

Twist & pull out. There's a o-ring that should be replaced if you remove it. That seals the hole.

was a metal washer style lock holding it in, didnt find no seals, just pulled it out, put it in the other, working, no leaks, thanks! oh yeah added a small amount of silicone to just insure the no leaking part
