Windshield wipers have a mind of their own!

Does anyone have any idea why my windshield wipers turn on automatically without turning the knob on the steering column? It's very embarrassing driving around with them going off all day with out any rain. If I need to replace the steer column windshield wiper control arm, how hard of a job is that?

I'm starting to wonder if this has to do with my horn going off non stop too? Along with the dash beeping at me with out my keys in the ignition too?

More than likely it is the multi-function switch (control arm).

should cost about $55-65 or so, and all that is required is a few screws.

15 minute job at least.
