Where is the best place to run the wires for an aftermarket set of fog lights thru the firewall on a 98 xlt

where are you going to be mounting them? if its in the stock location (or if you dont have stock fog lights, under the bumper) there should already be all ready be a hole there somewhere on the firewall that was used for all the other wires. just use that. thats what i did on my first gen. it was on the drivers side half way down. the second gens. might not have it in teh same location but it is there somewhere

Passenger side firewall, lift the carpet, you'll see one there, that's where I run all mine on my 95 and my boy runs his for his 99.

i'll have to look for that one. i like drivers side a little better though since the battery is on that side and most accesories that go through the firewall need to go to the battery at some point. but if i ever needed to run something on the passenger side, i will try and remember there is something there under the carpet. how far under the carpet? near the top by the inertia switch kind of? or like under the feet?
