I want the high beams to turn on with my low beams when I push forward and lock the lever. I know I could when I pull and "flash" the lever but I want it to stay locked. Has anyone done this yet?

the heat from the bulb might melt the headlight housing, as they are designed for either one of the other, but not both,
there was a kit for chevy's called a high four kit, but they have separate light housings for each bulb,

^Noted. But headlights are so cheap these days, I'm willing to take the risk. ;)

Any ideas? Is it as simple as tapping wires at the headlights or at the switch?

The switch controls this function. So you would have to wire something else in to make this work the way you want.
