hey there....i have a 5 speed and have a peculiar problem...at least i think so...after i've been parked for a little while (like at least 30 min. to an hour) and i put it in reverse, when i take it out of reverse i cannot get it into ANY gear...not just first...well i can't put it into gear for about 20-30 seconds, and then after pumping the clutch a couple times it'll go fine...plese help!

Uh Oh...

Sounds like the slave cylinder is about to let go, if not already. Double check the fluid in the clutch resevoire, and try bleeding the clutch. But if it is a sudden problem, it may be the clutch slave cylinder.

I just had mine replaced. I just bought my X and it went out. It seems that the previous owner installed a new clutch assembly, but didn't replace the plastic slave unit. Very expensive, because they have to pull the tranny to get to it. Mine cost $600 to replace on my '96.

Good Luck!

yeah that's what i was thinkin but it seems to only do it when it's really hot outside (i live in miss.)...if it's cool/cold weather it doesnt do it...so i dont know...i'll keep drivin it til it breaks i guess..
