I want to put 17x8 rims on my 02. No lift yet, I shouldn't have any problems with these should I? How big of tires could I get on those rims? Here is all the info for those rims I got from the web site.

Pro Comp Xtreme Alloy Series 7005

For: 2002 FORD EXPLORER
Part Number: PXA7005-7865

17x8, 5 on 4.5 Bolt PatternBackspace 4.5 in.Hub Centric NoMax Load 2200lbsOffset 0mmFinish Cast-Blast

I'm sure there is a sticky somewhere with all this info, I just don't get the tire vs rim size thing.
Also, just to get an Idea of what the width is like, what is the width of my stock tires and rims? Here is the number off my tires: P235/70R16

Thanks guys!

I checked the tire size sticky and it says I can go 10'' wide right? Woudl there be any rubbing at this width? And is that the width of the tire or the rim? If I have a 8'' wide rim will a 10'' wide tire fit on it? That may be a dumb question, but seriously, I know nothing about tires!
