Would you buy a second gen, 98 for a thousand bucks? I have that chance, It has a 4.0, 4wd, manual trans, and is white. The underside looks good, but from the cats back, the exhaust is gone. That's an easy enough fix. Body looks almost mint 164k on her though.

My 93 has 144k, runs perfect, but looks like hell. Should I buy it and turn around to sell the 93?

if i were you, i would buy the second gen, make that your DD, and hook the 93 up for heavy offroading

I drove a '95 from 168k to 318k. If I found a '98 without major trouble I'd buy it. Get some exhaust at a JY...

If this 4.0 is the pushrod, even better. The SOHC doesn't get high marks for longevity, though the old 4.0 is really tough. Change the oil at 3K and don't let them flush it.
