Well not really...

We did a TT/shackle lift on Splat. To make room for 31's

I think that your X looks great. What year did you say that your X is? Does it ride a lot rougher now? Cool truck though...

Those tires really aren't on Splat. They just placed some 33's up against his 31's. Nice try though. Fooled me at first.

I was fooled...

How's this for a fake job?

cboug... that is a bad mock up... you can actully see both tires... unless you got a 33x15x15 bfg with a seam in the middle and firestone manufacturing as the left and right treads are separating from each other:)

NO! See you don't see the BIG picture, It is the Only Duallie Explorer!

Cboug, I remember when you first posted that pic awhile back. It sure got me good back then, the only duallie explorer

The pics Kris posted are of my 96.

The ride is different. Not better or worse, but different. Big potholes and such are less harsh, while feedback from small stuff is better. All in all, the ride is evened out. It floats a little too much on the highway though.

The new tires actually go on tomorrow. I've been running my old 235/75s with the 2" lift. We'll see what a difference the new tires make. Hopefully they'll stiffen the highway ride up a little while making large potholes a still a little less teeth-rattling.

dually, that'd be great!

Seriously dont give anyone around here any ideas. I can just see somebody thinking "Chevy made a dually suburban back in the 80's I think I would have less chance of a rollover if I had duals in the rear" and out to the garage they go. Heck I'll go try it right now, to the garage I go.

Just kidding, i slapped myself for that one and anyone else who thinks they should do this slap yourself also.

Why not? I think it would be bad ass if someone were to actually do it. There is a TJ that is dualed out in the latest Peterson's, or maybe it was fourwheeler....

Someone makes spindle extension rims to be able to attach a second set of wheels for a duallie. I know I've seen them for our bolt pattern, just don't remember where. I can think of many many problems this might cause though.
