I took my MAF out yesterday and it looked ummm pretty clean except for one tiny little dark spot on it. I sprayed it with LPS all natural orange degreaser that is safe for electronics and a whole multitude of other things. After letting it soak and re-spraying it the dark spot on the post came right off. There was a little (hard to see) "something" next to the center coil that I scraped off delicately with my finger nail. After one final spraying I blew it off and re-installed it . I took off the negative terminal of the battery for ten minutes to reset the computer. Now I get a better and faster response from the gas peddle and I took it to work today and used 1/3 less gas than I normally would have. Even though the MAF still looked clean and shiny there was a film ( I believe) in the wires and it was causing a different voltage reading. I can't confirm because I never took readings. But the bottom line is WOW!!! what a difference 20 minutes can make on the wallet. I can even spin the tires from stand still now (couldn't do that before). Take twenty and do yourselves a favour.....clean your MAF every oil change or so, I'm gonna.

That's the TPS mod, where you drill the bolt holes on the TPS out a bit so you can rotate it in place and find the ideal setting... search for prper write up

that's a big 10-4 gud buddy. I remember that now that you bring it to mind...I think the voltage was supposed to be between 75 and 110 but perfect is 95 if I recall correctly
