Okay....I'm going to try to change history! I know I'm not a regular here and have only dropped by to ask a question or two a year. I'm sorry, but I just don't know much about cars or trucks so I can't help.

Many of you recall the phrase "Kilroy Was Here" that was used in WW II. I'm 49 years of age but I remember seeing it in movies, in documentaries, and in I think a Bugs Bunny cartoon even!. I've had it. I've had enough and will stand for no more. My plates that are personalized will be here in a few days.
They will read "9-11-RMBR"

Pat Tillman paid the ultimate price. The "Independent Media Center" - a US publication at that - decided to write an article Tuesday and to entitle it "Dumb Jock Killed in Afghanastan." They then go on to belittle the man. It is despicable what they wrote.

I would like to know what would be best to use to clearly write in my rear window "Tillman Was Here" and "Thank you Pat Tillman." I prefer not to paint it. I did try with that type of marker one uses to write "Just Married" and the like, but it doesn't work well.

Suggestions? And feel free to write it in your own window. I've had it with these *******s. They blew up the building I worked in for 16 years and killed my friends. If anyone was listening to Jerry Doyle on the radio tonight it was me telling of his friend who jumped off the top of the building.

I realize this is all way off topic, save for the question about what to use to write in the window. I would ask that if this would normally be deleted to please consider leaving it here.

Thank you,
Michael Stephen Walsh

I would have jasonb cut it out of vinyl for you. Sort of like a windshield banner would be.

Good luck!

Thanks for the photos. It made me give a look online as I could see from your photos what I was looking to do. It's relatively inexpensive to get anything custom made. I found a site that looks good at http://graphxonline.com/designonline/

Could you tell me the font size of the rear window sticker and also the side window one? Or if you know max height by width, that looks like the way one orders a custom cutout at the site above.

Thanks...I really appreciate it.
Mike

Where is this article you speak of? I would like to read it. Maybe there is a way to reply to the author and give him a nickle or dime's worth.

I have seen " window markers " in deprtment stores, K-Mart, Target, what have you.
Not the best, but the cheapest.

Just thought I'd update you on that GraphxOnline.com company; excellent service! Ordered 7AM Wednesday morning and recieved it just now (4:45PM PST, Friday). I'm very pleased with the quality and speedyness. If you're going to do this, this company is one to do it with, as well as the guy on the board. ;)
