Muskrat......I was only joking..... since my Ex is trail only now I think I can safely say the sway bars are as good as gone..... I took them off about 3 weeks ago.... I would just like to have some quick disconnects made in case I do need them.....

well i also got a 44 but i got front locker..... oh and chris... i found out how to tweak the rear LS so it doesnt break away at just 90ft lbs, ill get up that hill this time. :D
 






Nice Darren. Karol :D I'll look into quick disconnects like what Jeff has in the back, they should be easy enough to machine, but I don't know how much time I'll need to do it.

I'll be there for the early august run. I don't think I said yet that I was sure I would make it. I didn't want my Explorer to be totally stock so I made some swaybar quick disconnects for it.

Hey I have a great idea, let's all go and ride in everybody elses truck so we don't actually have to wheel in our own trucks.

What is the point of going out to wheel if you ride along with some other guy. I will never understand that....NEVER.

Karol, if you go, make sure you install some mirror guards.

Lindsey, invest in some ear plugs, if you don't hear the WORD, it won't bother you.

Oh and by the way, the places lizard is gunna take you only requires 2wd, no reason to RIDE ALONG with someone....*cough*pussy.

ANYWAY, love to hang with you dudes, but the wedding has priority.

Draper, I swear, if you buy the Zuk I'm gunna drive over it...er....put it in neutral and back over it......or...something.

I sent the papers off to the insurance company today so we'll see how it goes. im really cutting it close for the august 3rd and 4th trip. I really dunno if im gonna be able to make it now. my insurance company sucks theyre taking forever so we'll have to see how it goes.
 






Hey Jeff, those actually look kinda cool, especially since it's a trail only vehicle you can tear the doors off, bang it all the hell up and not care. I saw a bunch of those at paragon the last time I was out there and they all had solid front axles, does it come stock with that?

lmao, at this rate I'm going to be cutting it close for the run at the end of the month BUT I will make it, even if none of my gauges work I dont care... I WANT TO DRIVE MY DAMN TRUCK lol
:fire: if I ever get all the parts together to put it in I'll be ok... tranny hasnt been shipped yet, atlas will be here monday it seems (lot of good that does me with no tranny)
 






Get me a driveshaft out of a 98+ supercab Ranger w/ 4.0, and 4x4, and my truck will be there:D I can't risk this crossmember. If I get a shaft, and cut out the crossmember, I wheel without it until I find the right one:D Goeff, in the words of Namitey, "It's all good because I got a transfer case;)"
Jeff, my stock Ranger has more flex than that, but it's cool, just drop a Ford power plant in, and an 8.8, and I'll call it an honorary Ex.

yup i do have a transfer case. now if only i could get it apart to work on it. the bolts on the yokes are quite rusted. Im thinking im gonna have to put the t-case on a truck to get the bolts off. I really dont want to do that, any one else have any suggestions?
