Ok. Just wondering. When I ordered 4 of our ford police interceptors the VIN's are all sequential. Must be when they are ordered not built.

Ok. Just wondering. When I ordered 4 of our ford police interceptors the VIN's are all sequential. Must be when they are ordered not built.

Vins are assigned at scheduling, so if all of the Interceptors are scheduled at the same time they will get sequential vins but will not go down the line one behind the other. The assembly line order is determined by the 'rotation' or 'blend' number, which is a 4 digit number assigned once it gets a build day. The rotation numbers then go down the line in sequential order.
