Can anyone post some decent pictures of your front windows with 35% percent tint. I'm getting my fronts done this up coming week and 35% is as dark as they will go but the guy said they will look darker since the factory tint is 20%. thanks

$$$

how much did ur tint cost?

hey 96 lmtd...
forgive my ignorance, but how hard was this to do yourself?
would you suggest to others or should they have it done by a pro.
i've seen many do-it-yourself tint jobs and they usually look like crap very quickly.
which tint would you recommend?

35% on the fronts
5% every where else
State of Maryland legal limit

yeah i would have to done by a pro. i took it off about 5mins after the pics. it was more for just seeing what it would be like..lol so yeah just pay the $50 and have it done by a pro IMO :)

glad i asked...one more question just out of curiousity.

what made you take it off so quickly? did it look bad?
it must have been pretty easy to put on, if you just took it back off.
i figure, if it took a lot of effort and looked good, that you would have kept it.

thats %15 charcoal in the front compared with the stock, i think its pretty close to a match

because i had no intention of keeping it from the start. the limit here is 75% anyway. it was more just to see what everyone else was talking about(I.E you have to get it..ect) :)

was it bubbled?

ive never been pulled over, but then again i only got it done last saturday

Well I just got my '02 tinted today and the shop said the stock tint was 15% so he put 15% on the front windows as well as a windshield strip for $55. Looks right on the money as far as matching is concerned.

15% is mostly illegal in all states (i believe) i hope you don't have an inspection coming up soon or know someone that can just get ya the sticker (shady shop people)

inspections?

anybody have any places up in northeastern Ohio? I'm checking yellow pages but what kinda shops do tint? Customs places or repair shops?

Florida doesn't have inspections anymore. :)

And it gets so damn hot and sunny here that the police rarely give you any problems over it. Unless you give them a hard time first...

I have had 15% tint on previous vehicles and never once gotten so much as a second look or hassle when I've been stopped (for speeding).
