Time to replace the Dunlop Radial Rovers on the '96 XLT 4x4. The Ex is all stock and is the wifes daily driver. The Dunlops were a good tire but wore out way too fast.
I would like a tire for her that is fairly quiet, comfortable and good in the rain. The size will remain the stock 235/75-15. 90% of the driving will be on road but we have a cabin in snow country and it has a fairly steep drive that does not get plowed. I would need something that does pretty good in soft snow. And, of course I would like to get about 40k miles out of this wonder tire.
What are your recommendations? Keep in mind that tirerack won't sell me a HT. All they say they can sell me is the AT. Do I stick with AT or is there a HT that will fit the bill for me that I can just order and have mounted locally?
Currently I'm looking at Yoko Geolander, Michelin LTX and BFG. Thanks guys!
