Got it for $50 from a customer tonight cuz he needed gas for his rig (I work at a gas station)

How would I test it?

tested it tonight and it works... a little bit loud but i can tear it apart and rebuild it.

Question; how do i wire up a solenoid pack for this winch. I plan on internal switches only, on my dash. I know i need 4 solenoids 2 in and 2 out. Any diagrams or pics would help

Looks cool man. Like said above yer local steel shop will have receiver tubing...2.5"x2.5" 1/4" wall. Make sure it doesn't have a seam inside or your hitch won't slide into it. Kind of spendy but you will only need a foot. I tend to overbuild **** but on my rear bumpers I like to weld reinforcing tubes going back to the frame at an angle to make sure nothing ever goes anywhere. A good idea if you plan on getting yanked out of a sticky situation, especially if it is at a side angle...

bumper in front only weighs in about 75-90lbs. rear is 100+.

Roll on bedliner would look great on them.

spray on bedliner is a possibility, 8 bucks a can... hides minor blemishes too.

its almost done, i just have to burn 4 welds in and then grind it all down to make it perty. should i use a flap disc or go old school and shape it with a grinder? i have 80 160 and i think 320.

start out with the grinder and then finish it up with the fine flap disc. It will come out looking baby butt smooth. You will also want to rough up the entire surface with the flap disc to remove any rust and pickling so your primer coat adheres the best.
