2018 XLT with base 3.5 L V-6, new battery installed this August - It is frequently going into deep sleep mode wherein the remote door unlock is disabled. Friday evening, I put the battery on a trickle charger for about 4 hours. Wife ran errands Saturday, it wasn't driven Sunday and she drove it to work this morning (10 minutes) and now it went into deep sleep mode right after (I see it on the Ford Pass app).
Do I need to get the battery and charging system tested or is there something else I should be looking at?
To add to the confusion (mine) - when my 2018 F150 XLT goes into deep sleep/remote features may be disabled, the remote start and door lock/unlock still work whereas they do not on my wife's Explorer. Both vehicles have remote start but the Explorer has push button start (F150 does not) and the F150 has the start-stop feature (Explorer does not).
