For Sale Trade & Wanted Forum Rules!!! Updated 11/25/04. Okay, first off, all of the rules that you read when you signed up apply... Click here if you don't remember them! Here are a few which are specific to the for sale forums... 1. You must be an Elite Explorer member to sell parts and vehicles on our forum. You must be an EF Vendor to sell commercially. 2. Do not try to sell illegal copies of ANYTHING, don't try to sell burned copies of manuals, music CD's, DVD's or any of that... This includes items that people would need a license to purchase. 3. Do not undermine someone elses sale. If they are selling a widget arm for $22 + shipping and you know where you can get one for $14 shipped, its not up to you to "educate"...
Folks! It Is Buyer Beware! Explorerforum does not mediate delivery, payment, or any other details of specific transactions between vendors and buyers. We simply provide this forum as a communication channel. As the ForSale moderator Section525 and I occasionally have members emailing us about people who have taken their money and run off with out sending the product or refunding the $$. Unfortunately, not all members can be trusted, it is a shame. My general advice is: Use a credit card if you can. Use an escrow service like paypal.com or use Ebay if you are unsure or use a 3rd party person the two of you trust to conduct the transaction if you have ANY doubts. Good info: This information is good not just...
I think this might be a good idea Some of you have items for sale, but are afraid to ship them for various reasons. Maybe this thread will help you overcome the issues, and, sell your stuff. I would like each contributor to sub title his suggestion so they are easy to find for sellers, wishing to find a shipping option. No comments please, in order to keep this thread as comprehensive as possible. Comments will be deleted. Thanks in advance for your contributions.!!!
Due to a recent wave of deals gone bad, I have decided to limit the posting of For Sale items to Elite Explorer members only. Sorry to those who don't want to become Elite members, but this is being done in order to help prevent fraud. While it will not guarantee that a deal will go smooth, I'm hoping it will help. For more information about the "Elite Explorers" check this link: https://www.explorerforum.com/forums/index.php?account/upgrades Tips to help protect yourself from fraud: "Use a credit card if you can. Use an escrow service like paypal.com or use Ebay if you are unsure or use a 3rd party person the two of you trust to conduct the transaction if you have ANY doubts." Thanks for your understanding in this matter. Rick
As some of you know, I recently retired from the Navy and have gained employment at a rope factory. Most of their business is in the large marine industrial, but they have also made winch lines for Warn and other companies. I have also recently found out that I can get it for an at cost price, which I am offering to all of you with zero markup. I am not looking for a profit, just trying to offer a good deal to all my EF peeps. This will include the required rigging(splicing) of the line with a metal thimble, a hook, and a 10 foot chafe guard, just like the ones that you would buy from Master Pull, Rockstomper.com, or smittybilt. I have listed the specs below and comparable pricing. Other rigging options and lengths are also...

My truck is now officially dead. Tried to fix the tranny problem with a new TC, didn't work. So now it's time to call it a goner and part it out. The truck doesn't engage in gear, and the transmission makes a nasty whirring/grinding noise. Thought it was the Torque Converter, replaced it, it wasn't the problem. The truck has around 240k on it, and is fairly solid otherwise. Has normal rocker and wheel well rust, but the undercarriage is solid. Truck is now being sold as one piece only. If you are interested please send a PM. It is not drivable but can definitely be towed. Would prefer to have it picked up, but I can haul it very short distances as well if needed.
Everybody involved thought it was what it wasn't. It was supposed to fit my Sport Trac but in fact fits everything EXCEPT a 01-03 Sport or 01-05 Sport Trac. The two frame-to-bar mounting brackets are not included. What it DOES fit: 12534 95-97 Ford Explorer (All models) 12534 98-01 Ford Explorer (All models; except 2001-2003 Sport 2-door and 2001-2005 Sport Trac) 12534 98-01 Mercury Mountaineer (All models) WAAG 12534 Price: $125.00 +shipping from 28037.
Pair of leaf springs out of my 98 Sport with only 65,000 miles on them. $30 for the pair. I just swapped to multi-leaf rear springs to get a bit more height. These would be ideal for someone with a Sport, that has the infamous lean toward the driver side, and wants to maintain the stock ride height. You could probably get away with just changing the driver side spring. I have these marked as to original positions. I would prefer to sell these locally ... shipping would be a killer. I am located in the Clearwater, Fl area ... 34698 zip code.
Panasonic CQ-DF2030U CD reciever. This will play a single CD, am-fm radio, 50 watt per 4 channel MOSFAT amp, removeable face, remote control, front and rear RCA jacks for external amps. This is installed into a Scosche dash kit for a 98 Explorer and has the appropriate wiring harness for the standard Premium system (non-Mach system ... no factory subwoofer). The wiring joints have been soldered and are covered in shrink tubing. The wiring kit is for all of these other applications, too ... For 1998 & up Club Wagon, Crown Victoria, Econoline, Escape, Excursion, Expedition, Explorer, Explorer (2-Dr Sport), Explorer (4-Dr), Explorer (Sport Trac), F-Series Pickup, F-Series Pickup Heritage, F-Series Super-Duty Pickup, Ranger...
