I got my Explorer back today

It was in the shop almost two weeks while they did the rebuild on the transmission. I am not sure about it yet though. It shifts a little hard. Maybe it will settle down after the computer has time to adapt. It has a one year warranty with unlimited miles so if it does not clear up I will take it back.

I plan to take it back Monday. They were closed by the time I found this out Friday.
 












Did you take it to a dealer or a shop?

It is a shop but it is one I more or less trust. I have known the guy who owns it for a long time. He is usually too expensive but I have never heard anything bad about his work.
 






They adjusted the bands on it and cleared the codes. It seems to shift much smoother now. They said to bring it back if it threw any more codes and they would have to mess with the valve bodies. I think it is OK now though. I could tell something was not quite right before but it feels right now.
