Spark plug removal in TSB 08-7-6

I have 07 sport trac with V8 and 35k on the clock. I'm looking at changing spark plugs using instructions in TSB 08-7-6. Has anyone used this procedure? Thanks for feedback.

Are not the original plugs good for 100,000 miles?

Your right, they are. I've have seen posts on how it is better to change them before that to keep from braking them in 2 and having pieces left in the head. Quess I could always hold off and just take to dealer and let them deal with it: they brake, it they fix it.

There are many posts on mysporttrac. I was going to change mine this summer, but I found out I have the new design. They changed in early 08. If you have the 2-piece, the earlier you get them out, the better. I'd replace them with the Champions. They are also many posts on Mustang and F-150 forums.
