02 explorer wants to shut off when switching from reverse to drive

I have a 2002 ford explorer that wants to turn off when switching from reverse to drive or vice versa. I have changed the fuel filter, plugs, wires, and air filter. My next thought is the fuel pump, but before I get into that I wanted to know if there should be something else to check first. Check engine light is on with one code. It says that bank one is running rich.

i took it to a mechanic and he checked it with carb spray, said there is not intake gasket leaks, and that all i had to change was the abs sensor. codes that i pulled on my own are p0174 & p0171.

cleaned the maf and changed iac. still doing the same thing.
