I am the proud new owner of an explorer sport. Ive noticed though that you have to slam the lift gate extremely hard and you have to slam the front two doors pretty hard to get them to latch. This vehicles never been wrecked but i think maybe the latches are going bad? I would love any help! Also im just wondering if ford motors usually have a small shake at idle? Thanks!

Replace the door strikes.

They should have a nylon bushing on them.

Worn, broken, missing, will make your doors work like a school locker! :(

On the rear hatch you can just replace the bushing. :D

Tip: Use a sharpie to mark the current location before you remove them, It'll save you a lot of fuss'n around to get them back adjusted proper.
