Hello folks!

My 2002 Explorer Sport has two annoying issues that I would like to resolve:

1. The overhead temperature/direction console is not working; I used to be able to hit it to make it work, now it rarely works. And ideas what the problem might be? It must be getting power but something is loose or shorting out. Any tricks to removing it and working on it?

2. The LIGHTS on the on and off buttons for the speed control on the steering wheel are not working--the on/off buttons work, but they are not lighted. How difficult is it to dig in there and replace the lights?

Any ideas would be welcomed!
