Engine fan: Left or Right Hand Thread

Need some help....The cooling fan nut, is it left hand threads or right hand threads????
Also what is the best controller for a two electric fan system???

It's normal threads.

Mine says so right on the fan shroud, I think it will usually be displayed somewehere around there. I can buy the thin wrenches from Ford for 100 bucks -they are so helpfull.

The fan shroud will tell you - look at the top left corner (drivers side) of fan shroud. The 4.0 Vin X engines have a right hand thread (turn right to loosen). The 4.0 Vin E and the 5.0 engines can have right or left hand threads; again, look at the shroud. It will be marked properly for your vehicle. My 5.0 V8 has right hand threads as marked on the shroud.
