Fedyfedz 2002 v8 limited registry!!

Had a little extra time at work today and figure id start working/putting this together. My name is Scott and Im from small town Kings Park Long Island(New York) I drive a 2002 ford explorer v8 limited. Someone let me know if im leaving any necessary information out. Just to worn you there are alot of pic's. I tried to upload them in time order as to when i took them so you can see the drastic change. I replied to many threads so i feel that a description of the images is not necessary. If you want to ask me something try searching you will probably find it or just PM me. Im addicted to doing work to my X myself even though im not a so called mechanic but i now alot and am willing to to some trial and error and searching online to find the best solutions, Im a fan of the DIY and love free mods!!

First pic is the day i brought her home. I think that i over payed($13,300) but i am happy with my X and have many more plans for it.

Cool machine mate, love the note your X has! Did the new throttle body made a big difference? She get's to 50 pretty quick!

throttle body made a pretty noticeable difference also when driving at certain rpms just as soon as its about to shift it has a slight whistle that sounds awesome and at WOT the difference is very noticeable. in person it sounds even better lol

just got back from the junkyard and all i have to say is wow. first off only 20 dollars for cross member for roofrack, im going to make my own light bar, but on a side note the junkyard might as well been for explorers only. as i pulled up i saw 4 of same year as mine plus 3 of the 2nd gen. must be a popular truck to crash and fix, knock on wood.

Also my scangauge today told me the intake temp at idle was 130 degrees and its 70 degrees outside, curious to see what its going to be when its 100 degrees outside. while on the highway it is usally 2-3 degrees below outside temp

Congrats on the good finds, feels good dont it :p:

My JY has about a quarter mile of explorers lined up, 2 3rd gens, about 6-7 1st gens, and 25+ 2nd gens. Alot of them have been picked clean though or are too smashed to even get into :(

light bar looks great Fedy! I was going to go that route but my truck is tall enough now that I would not be able to fit through my garage door with lights up there lol.

love the underglow man. What kit did you use?

its from ledglow, its a wireless system with key fob, that has 5 music settings 5 strobing settings and a steady on feature, also comes with a spot to hookup interior neons to go with the music as well the price was under 100 so i had to buy

dang that is a good deal. how did you attach them? and where to?

?

for the sides since i removed the running boards there were already holes all over for the mounting brackets to hook up as well with the front. The hard part was the back...i dont carry my spare with me so i had more room to work with and ended up mounting it on the spare tire holder.
