I have searched and searched, and all I can find info about is remote starters that start a car from a distance. I am trying to hook up a 6 foot wire remote starter for checking compression, valve action etc. The starter is way too far away and too hard to get to, and Actron suggests using the starter relay.

Well my relay (between the power dist box and battery) either needs to have a cover come off with those funky hex tools, or I'm missing something. The "relay" in my car actually has to metal lines coming from it leading to the brake system.

Anybody ever set this up on an SOHC? This is incredibly annoying for something that should be so simple. Thanks! -DW
