How do i get my cigarette lighter to work again?

My sister put the end of her phone charger into the cigarette lighter hole, and it made this pop noise, ( the actual cord.the square/rectangle usb end) later on i put my car charger in and it didnt light up, i know i need a fuse, but is a fuse all i need? or do i have to get a whole new cigarette lighter piece. 2003 sport trac

The porcelain on the inside of the port probably cracked, really common issue with these. Go to the parts store and pick a universal one from the HELP section (around $1.50-$3) depending on region. Check the fuse before you go buy a new one though just to make sure but most likely it's the porcelain in the port.
