Whats the proper way, or a way to figure out what you angle you pinion is supposed to be pointing after you do a spring over, so that you dont have driveline vibrations and u-joint binding.

I heard one way about using a protractor measure off the yoke and off the driveshaft and the difference between the two is your angle.

is this correct or is there a different way or can someone clear this up a bit

Eye it up = wrong.

It has to be corect, I mean sure you can guess and get it "close enough" but if you are going to do all the work you mine as well get it right.........

still got vibes?? I have set up two axles in spring over for myself. Each time I measured the new perches exactly to the same difference as the old ones on the bottome and tack welded them prior to lifting the axle up to the leaf pack. I have had no noticable vibes.
Has this gotten worse since sunday when you left town?
