Tail Gate Swap

Got a question for you guys and girls,

I have a 91 Mazda Nav, and I was wondering how hard it would be to swap the tailgate that I have for one with a rear wiper and defrost, since I don't have either of those.

Are any of the electrical connections back there? or will I have to run all new wires?

the wires are probably all back there, just not used in the stripped model vehicles... a direct tailgate swap would be fine and pretty easy...
