damn bro that really sucks, was it new or used?

Maybe I should try posting a FS thread on a Ranger site...I really wanna keep IFS and 4x4

I could have easily giving u 1,200 if the kit was in good shape.

So you're not coming to carlisle? :(

Nope Spindles wont be in in time. I will make just about every run on the east coast after I finish it though lol.

I also gotta get glass up front, tires wont fit without cutting up my front fenders.

Chris, did you just purchase a fender to fix the one that got damaged? And now you will be getting rid of that. Man that sucks!

I am in no rush really. I dont have a lisence for another month and I am waiting on spindles and a 3'' BL. After that I dont think I'll need trimming since the running boards are gone. If I do need trimming, I'll get some perrys.

get the glass anyways, it will really top off your conversion :)

Looks great!
How do you feel about it?
It must be crazy going from slammed to lifted in the same truck in such a short time.
hahahaha

money is tight at the moment so Im trying to hold off on glass as long as i can. I will get glass and a front prerunner bumper by the end of summer at latest.

So far:
WAY different getting in it lol. It probibly is 12''s higher than were it was.
I have changed the way I did my rear brake lines, U-bolts andf shock mounts probibly 4 times now to make me feel comfortable. All I want now is 4'' superlift rear shocks and she whill be perfect. Just playing with the jackstands and jacks in the driveway, she has some FLEX in the rear like crazy. I love it!

Superlift shocks NO!!!!!

get Rancho's :)

HAHAHAHA those seat recliner levers wont last long now :)
I followed my mom to take her car in one day last year, I had my 35's on, and she couldnt get in my truck :) I had to pull over to a double height curb and make her walk all the way over there before we could get her in my truck......poor moms.

Oh and you dont have to tell me about the $$$ is tight thing, holey moley the little things add up quick!

speaking of seats I still need to take my truck in for the recliner bolt recall HAHA! You have the part # for the rancho rears for 4''s of lift?

Yeah my gf is like 5'4 and she was one of the people saying I should lift it. Now she says no higher because I took off the running boards haha.

The rear spring over axle conversion doesn't look right. The stock shock mount on mine is above the axle. The U-bolts are the other way. If you are going to wheel it all that stuff o the bottom of the axle will get hung up.

^^ There are a bunch of ways to do this and he chose to keep his shock mounts at the bottom....

Boomin - You gonna cut off the shock mount tab for better clearance? What all did you need to mount the shocks on the swaybar bracket? New bolts? Could the swaybar still fit there with them in that location? The way mine is, I basically just flippered everything over and my shocks have about 2 - 3" of uptravel before being bottomed out, so I need to change them quick.

Also, Skyjacker Nitro shocks ride real nice and you should be able to get them in extended sizes.

well with the mounts on top of the leafs my truck has about 1'' of downtravel and it stops. With them this way I can get extended shocks for about 4''s of lift, use the stock type mounts and have good flex, stablize the axle and good ride quality with no limitation. I am really not concerned on getting hung up on things right now since I am 2wd, the only crap I will be in is sand, dirt and a little mud but nothing big yet.

To get the shocks were they are now all i did is stuck the bolt through the hole, pushed up the shock and threw the nut on. It is the nut/bolt you would use on the stock setup

Ah, ok. So when you get the extended shocks, are you keeping them where they are now or moving them to the stock location?

If you get some ranger U bolts and u bolt plates your problems will go away with those big ears sticking down. You can use the Ranger U bolts just like a real spring over truck, have the U bolts around the axle tube and the plate on top of the leafs...
