i just got my jc whitney mag. in the mall, and it has something for the rear axle to convert it do a dually. can someone photoshop a explorer dually, i would also get fiberglass rear panels to make it look like a true dually

That would be so horribly gay looking, not to mention the excessive amounts of stress placed on the rear axle.

it would also be lifted 6" with 33x12.50r15 up front and (4) 33x9.50r15 in the rear with black wheels

9" rear axle and 4.88 gears

im still on the fence. maybe youd have better traction and get stuck in ruts a lot less, but since your swappin in a 9 inch wouldnt it be cheaper (and easier and stronger) to swap in an f350 dually rear? depending on JCs cost of course.

BTW: probably the most random Xplorer mod ever..... :confused:
 






stronger it would be sure the 9" could probably handle it, but there will be a buttload of stress onthe bearings and not to mention the weak link being the stupid adapters... i owuld rather the weak link by the f350 axle i have under my truck..... if could only be that lucky to worry about that....

I have to agree that is fugly... everyone is thinking about the rear being overloaded but that is the strongest part of the Ex.. what about the trans!!! :)
