So, I'm sitting here in his garage on my laptop checking email...

He had just finished working on his truck. He starts it and backs down the driveway and heads down to the end of his street for a little test drive.

I hear his truck accelerate and then I hear his tires screeching really bad. Then I hear the truck turn off.:scratch: What the hell is going on???

I put down my laptop and go look down the street and I see his truck off the road down at the end. He looked stuck, so I hop in mine and go down there thinking I will probably need to pull him out.

Come to find out his accelerator stuck on him and he couldn't stop the truck until he slammed it into Park and turned it off. I found that his hood release cable got stuck behind the top of the pedal and was pushing it to accelerate.

Good thing no other vehicles were in the vicinity at the time.
