86...

X has come a long way !!!!! looks a MILLION times better then a few weeks ago !!!

keep up the good work !!!

Do you do your own fab or no?

Seriously. it would take about 3 hours to mount up some Kings or Fox's or w/e in there.

You seem to be Dropping the word king alot, like bolting in a set of king coilovers is magically going to change the ride.

It wont, simply put. If you want a bad ass front end, Dixon bros has a kit that will bolt up for you. thats the route im going for my front end, for the rear im building my own spindles and a arms and going to use some custom 935 axles with gear one hubs...

Mx stop giving info thats not right. The dixon bros kit is NOT for 3rd gens, its for the ranger edge, sport track, and 95-2001 explorer 4wd. Let me repeat that its not for 3rd gen explorers, not only will it not bolt right up the geometry will be off. Didnt you say you built trophy trucks for a living, but you cant tell that the 3rd gen use a cross shaft for the upper mount and the dbr kit does not. Also you say in another thread that a longer upper arm without a lower(like what 86 is having built) will do no good, obviously you dont know what your talking about, have you not ever heard of a short arm kit? I guess someone should call camburg and tell them there is no point in making a new upper for there 5.5,6.0, f-150, titan, toyota and silverado kits. WAJ

Haha good call tylers02

How about some action shots of the vehicle in the desert eh?

i got roadbullys 2inch lift up front and 1.75 in the back, i know your running 33's stock in the back.... do you think that i could fit 33's in the front with my 2 inches of lift without your fenders? if not with your fenders?

hows the 5inch long travel lift coming? also hows the solid axle swap in the back coming along??

Looking good and like I said in a previous thread, it's a work in progress;) And I still think that ass needs to come up a little bit more.

Okay so I think this will do for now - 86EXPLORER86, please keep your updates in this thread.

Why the hells that guy (on page 1) gonna talk sh*t?
I think your explorer looks badass!

I would trade you both my 92, and my 95 for yours :D

Good work man, and I think the reason the front tires look smaller, is because the front of your x sits higher up front, so theyre like farther from the wheelwell unlike the back wheels :p

not going to go the solid axel in the back rout im going to keep it independent and extend the arms

long travel will be here soon just working so much

i think that you could put 33's with the 2inch if you have issues and want to have that flair up front then yeah the fenders will take care of the fit ment issues.

other wise wheel spacers are a must for the front and back
