I put my v6 mac intake on my v8. I flipped the tube around sealed off one of the holes and added longer bolts and rubber shock bushings to the mounts.

Do you guys see any problems with running this intake? What about the breather coming off the oil fill tube? Is this ok going into the side?

I would say you're okay if you're running the MAF for the V8.

I am running the V8 MAF. Is there any need to run the breather into the tube ? Can i plug that hole too and put a filter on it?

If the breather was on the stock intake airbox then you will want to keep it on there.

The stock set up on a 2001 v8 has the breather hose coming off the top of the oil fill tube and going into the top of the intake tube.

Then you should be fine with your set-up now. Looks good by the way.
