the back goes together SO much easier

When/if I do spacers Im not even going to bother installing em myself. I'll take it to a shop.

honestly as long as you have another person to give you a hand its not that hard ... i thought it would be alot harder than it was ... it took me and my dad a weekend ... only reason why it took 2 days instead of one is couldnt get the front strut assembly back in *REMEMBER* bolt up the lower first then the top!!!(for front) and i replaced the struts (just stuts not springs) and upper BJs at the same time

Took me three nights after work by myself to do the upper ball joints and front and rear spacers. I had a shop quote me $50 a wheel for installation, your better off getting the expirence under your belt if youve never taken the suspension apart

My biggest issue is my garage wont fit a lifted X (with tires). My driveway is sloped so I cant install it there. I imagine it wont be too difficult with adequate space. I just want the convienence of it being installed and aligned

i totally agree kazer, im always up for a new challenge and i never done any kind of susupension work

nate do you have a midgets garage?!? lol installing the spacers are 6 bolts each just gotta make sure they are tight! and obviously gotta take it to get an alignment then DONE for less than $100 :)

haha yeah the front was hard because we were trying to put the top part of the strut in first, but i asked and we bolted the lower strut bolt in first and it went in like pie. it was awesome and i feel a lot better now that i know how to work on some suspension for my truck. good learning experience! and i am glad to hear the rear goes together a lot easier :D

we did the rear first and got pretty confident with the front ... NOT! i had to ask the same question lol and like i said im always up to a new challenge and obviously accomplished it so i feel alot better about messing with the suspension ... now i need to take off the driver side uca and grease the bushing ... sounds like nails on a chalkboard :(

Yup yup, got the 4.0 with K&N Intake and a Gibson CATback. Truth be told, the K&N alone would have been good. The exhaust sounds nice and throaty, but the gain is bearly noticable! The K&N even sounds great alone with stock exhaust!

i didnt know K&N made a cai for our 4.0s?!?!

Yes K&N makes a CAI for 02 and 03 models, but for us 04-05 owners we are out of luck, because our MAF sensor is built into the OEM airbox, whereas the 02-03 model's MAF is not built into the airbox..

oh yeah ... had a brain fart  got excited lol

No worries lol.

and if you really wanted you could get the spectre MAF housing part and then you can have a cone filter

There are two bolts at the bottom and 4 that go along the top. I had a body shop install mine as I dont want to drill my bumper cover.

The two bolts at the bottom are at each side of the hitch opening.

The four bolts at the top; two on each side of the opening. The other one would be right above the top of the picture.
