Alright, here we go again! I am fixing several things on my explorer, but the first thing I need to fix is the leaking roof! Its 2am, and I just couldn't take the suspense anymore, so I went out side and took the headliner off on the driver side front to see what I could find underneath! The following pic is what I found!

The drain from my sun roof is completely off! Now my next question is, how do I fix this? Just put them back together and use tape? And if so, what kind of tape?!? I am going to pull down the rest of my headliner tomorrow and we shall see if any of the other drains look like this!

Been here, fixed this.

I made a real cheap (and good) repair for the same issue. The tip cap on those clear tube fluid dispensers work to attach those 2 parts back together with no tape or adhesives.

The black tip is what I was after. Two different size ends that fit perfectly in the two different size tubes.

Save the short fat tube on the drain tube.

Modify the tube cap tip slightly. Cut off the cap part of it, and then stuck one end in the short fat stock tube.

Then the other end in the drain tube that goes into the A-pillar.

Bam! Your done, no more leaks. :)

That is an easy cheap and quick fix! Thank you very much for your advice, and a big thank you for the pictures :) Here I go!

the other option is to cut a short piece of metal tubing and slip the tubing into the drain tube and then clamp it together, that should work also
