SD. I know they all came with hydro-boost but I was hoping it might work. There is a guy on here that did the same thing with his ranger SAS. If nothing else I'll probably try to retrofit a SD pump into the ST. I just don't have a lot of faith in a 15yr old 1st gen box especially later down the road if I run 37s.

It better be! I dont know how much longer I can live without my baby lol. I'm hoping to have it done by the end of February and debut it at OSCARS in Harlan KY

Where's your SAS build thread? Gotta start one now that you're gonna be official.

Haha I'll wait till I have a little more info before starting one. I had that axle/wheel thread from last month and a little bit of this one.

I'm still trying to get a decent price on a Super Duty steering box since it's already tapped for hydro assist for down the road and I'll be able to upgrade the pump later on as well. Still waiting on the crossover kit too :(

I'm sure yours will flex more but I went with leaves because they're cheaper and easier to work with for me personally. Coils are a little confusing for me lol. Plus they were still on the axle when I pulled it so that solidified my choice.

Can I ask what is the front axle setup..from a super duty ?

No it a secret! Just kiddin ask away. It's a low pinion Dana 44 from an 88 Grand Wagoneer. It's about 2" wider than stock but still considered a narrow width axle. I just want the steering box from a super duty right now.

Rears just about done. New shock perches are gonna be welded up on the axle so it's not on its own weight back there yet but close!

No it's still the stock 8.8. Just did an SOA and changing out the ring and pinion.

Ok thanks alot man is there alot of extensive work to be done doing a SOA AND SAS
