Agreed. I had 8000K on my bike, and even though they looked cool, I didn't want that much blue on my explorer. I have 6000K HID fogs/headlights on my explorer and am very happy with the way they look. I got the middle finger today because they were so bright :
I am glad to see people on here trying to work out the lighting issue that has been driving me qrazy since I got this suv. I got real spoiled because I had HIDs on my lincoln aviator and they were absloute unreal. This explorer is the columbus of head lights the lights pattern infront of you just goes out there and drops out but we all know that. I am going to try and mount some driving lights up on the bumper and aim them straight down the center to scatter light past the cutout of light
I got my headlight and foglight bulbs from Andrew at Coolbulbs.com - - Perfect fitment, easy installation, good pricing, quick shipping - Couldn't ask for a better experience.
I want to thank everyone for thier input. I did change my light bulbs to sylvania ultra silver 4100k but it wasn't until I followed the recommendation to adjust the passenger side headlight about an inch or side higher than the driver side. This took the line in the dark away that I was seeing all the time.
