Got it last May for $350. It needed a transmission. Tires where dry rotted too since it was sitting for 5 years.
Got all the windows working, put in a transmission and fixed the AC with some new tires. Interior is like brand new, and the paint is almost perfect.

My explorer when it was my parents in 2004. It had overheated the transmission for about 2 hours pulling that trailer. My mom drove it for 2 years afterwards until the transmission was to the point that it was barely driveable.
And here it is now.
