I just want to tell Dave I hope everything works out with his Ranger. You have a real nice truck and I hope this won't stop you from keeping at it.

Wow!!! Looks like you guy's had a blast. Sorry to hear about DB-1. That sure is a nice truck. :(

Rick the Pumkin is flexing awesome:p I thought you had made 1/2 doors for the rear also.

Tom, I do have all the doors, but I put the stock ones on for the ride out to T-haven since it was raining this weekend. I just popped on the drivers half door when we got there for better visibility.

Here's my excitement!:D

Dang Bill, looks like ya ate the hill:eek: (hey that ryhmes) Sure glad that worked out ok and the damage was practically non-existant. It's amazing your mirror survived!

Looking great guys. I can't wait for January, but like I told Matt and Bill on ORR, I don't think I'll be following them again. ;) And Dave, I am soooo sorry about your truck. I hope you get that thing put back together soon. And Rick, the Pumpkin is flexing nice!

Here are pics on ORR from our trip through Old Dale and Berdoo Canyon Road on Saturday.

Who's X is that? It is awesome! I can't remember ever seeing it before. I love the rear fenders! I am still partial to the look to the 1st gen's as well.

Sorry I couldn't make it out there guys!!! Good thing, cause with my luck I probably would have been upside down by the end of the trip. I hope everyone with damage ended up being ok, and get your rigs up in a timely and cost effective manner.

I tried to reach you guys on the CB Thursday night and Sunday Morning, but had no luck. Looks like you had a blast!!! Glad to see everyone is ok. See you all in Jan! :bounce:

So did you got to Glamis Ron?

I sure did. It was fun, even with all the closures. The truck did REALLY well out there in the soft sand. I even hit about 65mph on the Sand Drags. I am still having a lot of fender rub after all my trimming, so it's time to go fiberglass fenders. I was going to stop by T-Haven Sunday on the way home around 1:00pm to say hi, but I didn't know if you guys were still going to be there, and also the goup I was with were tired and wanted to get home. :(

We were packing up by1:00 on Sunday. Too bad you didn't stop by on Saturday:( Oh well, maybe next time.

Glad to here all you guys make it home safe!

Sorry to here about that DB-1, that sux. At least you can now start stories by saying, "Hey, you remember that weekend I rolled my Ranger at TruckHaven.............."

RangerX, I guess the exo-cage just paid for itself, Congrats!

Hey Rick, do you rub at this point, or is it a perfect fit under there?

The tire rubs on the inner fender (just above the frame) where just about every Explorer I've ever seen rubs.

Ok Bill.. Is that 3 or 4 times you have rolled that ranger? (sport trac prototype)..

Do you have to go down to mexico to get it fixed again? or did the exo cage hold up?

One of the guys from the POR board found a tunnel in the dirt at Thaven! It's in one of the ditches and you can actually drive through it. Man we have to find that thing :D

Finally I found some time to write a reply on here.
I had a great time despite the nightime rollover and thanks to Rick for getting me back on all fours.
I'm glad you were ok Matt, you took the brunt of that roll, kinda felt like the viper rollorcoaster at magic mountain...lol. The plan is to get the cab straightened out by a body shop so I can get a windshield on there
an the pass. side door is beyond repair so those look like to be the big ticket items. I tried putting my tailgate back on but it was tweaked just enough to prevent it from closing. Mechanicly everything is ok so i'm glad about that. We'll see what the future holds for my truck,
now i'm thinking, shorten the wheelbase, lose the bed in favor of a flatbed, exo cage like Bill's( i'm sold on 'em now Bill!) and doors like Rick's sure would be cool.
But that's way down the road, for now I have to try and get it so I can drive it on the street. Thanks again for everyones help and it was nice to meet some new faces from the board.

Yeah, I found a small cave with a <edit> nest in it that you could walk/crawl through.

DB_1, any details on how it happened? Were you going fast, slow, off-camber, playing?

We were going slow through some ravines or washes and I got too high on my drivers side which put me way off camber and before I could even react, we were on our side( Rock Ranger was riding shotgun). All in all it could of been worse but it still sucks:(

P.S. Rick, this wont keep me down, what else am i going to do with a straight axled ranger? lol.
