well the newer 4.0ls have much more pep then the first gens and are easy to add parts for more power one thingi no to look for is coolant. make sure its clean no dirt or oil. also drive it make sure trans shifts the way it should and that all options work (4x4 and all switches) and just...

if you have the t hook up they have it at basic auto parts store (pepboys, autozone, advance auto) its like $10-$15

could have shorted the wire for the temp sender which is next to intake on top of the motor

i run a kicker amp and its beast but amps are basically up to preference and cost some cheap ones are very good some expensive ones are very bad thats y i stick to kicker but they r expensive

welcome try replacing idle air control unit its on driver side of upper intake part is like $40 at pep boys and is usually the cause of this noise

yea if u make it think it got programmed to a new remote (cycle 8 times) old one wont be synced anymore

i might need a new trans soon too =\ hesitates goin into reverse at times

welcome and idk those engine to well but from 90's so 2k's was a big difference in the ex and ranger motors going from ohv to sohc

is your driveshaft still there? lol this is truely confusing but thats like the only thing i can think of if t.c. engages but tires dont spin

idk sounds like battery cable isnt hooked up good somewhere or alt cable
