I put 35s on the same 4” Trailmaster lift but needed the front fiberglass fenders and hammered the pinch weld on the firewall. The back is just the 4” lift springs. On the Rubicon.

Yeah, that's a rad shot. Yes, he is going through some silt dust in Johnson Valley during the King of the Hammers race. With all of the race trucks, and spectators driving around that area the dust is in the air for a week straight!

Over on Expedition Portal and IH8MUD forums, the Wilpeak AT3 seem to be a pretty popular tire lately.

It is very much what the overlanders use, but it’s just as capable as the Explorer I have. That’s also basically what I was going to be using the explorer for. I do still have the van, and I’m keeping it, unless I find myself not using it anymore at all.

Believe me, I tried to find a white one... :) There is a white one for sale, but they are asking way too much, and wouldn't budge on it. I was lucky to find this one that basically done, so I don't have to wait the crazy lead times to get parts if I were to buy a stock one and "build" it...

I was originally thinking I wanted a truck, so I drove a Taco, Ranger and Frontier (all 4door shortbed 4x4). After driving them and thinking about it, I realized an SUV is just more practical for me. Both good guesses, Tom! The Tacomas and 4Runners are selling for absolutely ridiculous prices...
