Deathrow Update
Well, shes officially painted a new Satin Black with a green pinstripe. Put smoked lenses on the moonvisor, need to hook it up still; need to put the brush guard back on as well. But she still has the issue of I've tried every fix for theft mode but nothing works. So I'm talking to some...- DemonMudder

Solved Theft Mode Issues
Well I never got around to making any spares, meant to but was looking around for cheaper places to do it than ford; did just replace the door lock so I have that key and the one ignition key. The fob would unlock, lock, and set the alarm off just fine. I'll have to check the light tomorrow when...- DemonMudder

Solved Theft Mode Issues
The theft light did blink rapidly, can't recall if the check engine was still on, I'm sure it was on like normal in the on position- DemonMudder

Solved Theft Mode Issues
Clicker wouldn't even work until a few minutes on jumper cables, assuming the battery is dead as well so I got a new one. But it will come on, and attempt to crank when on a charge. But that's as far as it goes- DemonMudder

Solved Theft Mode Issues
Okay, I know this has been discussed plenty, even on Google. But I took the truck in to be painted and they somehow threw it in theft mode. Would like some suggestions for getting it out if it without having to bring it back to ford. I tried a few quick methods before I had to work the other day...- DemonMudder

Lund Hardware Question
You're talking about a lund windjammer, right? Sits right above the rear windshield, spoiler looking thingamajig? If that's it, I've seen that most people tend to skip the screws and attach with 3M tape instead. So, you could always try that, unless you had it screwed in before that is. I mean...- DemonMudder

Lund Hardware Question
I'm not 100% on the rear one, but I recently ordered the front Lund moonvisor and it's full set of equipment on Ebay. Altogether it was about $300 but I saw some of the equipment such as the screws at like $10. So my suggestion, try searching ebay or other used sites. I'll take a look as well...- DemonMudder

True Dual Exhaust - Need opinions on TIPS - see photos
So I'll probably end up with dual 2.5" pipes, dual mufflers. Just have to price them out and find a place thats willing to do it. But, these are future plans thanks to it being a money pit from repairs lol- DemonMudder

True Dual Exhaust - Need opinions on TIPS - see photos
I see a lot of explorers rocking the flowmaster 40 series, usually sound pretty good. The dual muffler, single outlet ain't a bad idea, but I'm terrible to my wallet and do like the dual outlet lol- DemonMudder

True Dual Exhaust - Need opinions on TIPS - see photos
Okay, I've debated on going dual as well, I like the straight back, one on each end of the bumper look, similar MuscleJunkie's exploder. Just deciding on what equipment to go with, I want to get the most rumble out of my 4.0 SOHC. I want louder and more rumble, I know it'll never sound like a V8...- DemonMudder

Solved Clunks While Turning Left?
The driveshaft has a slight bit of twist movement, that's it. Twists the cv with it but I can't move it by hand. The transfer case does lock up in 4wd, at least it did once; trying to see if the clunks occured in 4wd, I tested it and the truck wouldn't transfer back without disconnecting the...- DemonMudder

DemonMudder's 1999 Explorer 4.0 XLT 4X4
Thought about it a whole lot, still am, but honestly these tires are only about a year old. So I'm no huge rush for new tires, but I'm planning to throw some 265/75R16s or 235/85R16s on eventually, already found a set for the first one and wheels to go along with it, just biting my time. But...- DemonMudder

Solved Clunks While Turning Left?
Okay, so heres a video with the sound, the whole time I'm turning left. I accelerate and so does it, I slow down and it does as well. I'm not sure if it's the same thing, but I've heard the same clunk or a similar one when I've slammed on the brakes or just braked a bit hard in general...- DemonMudder

Solved Clunks While Turning Left?
Also, if it helps any, when I replaces the cv axles, it did muffle/silence them for a day or t Yeah, I tightened it down (both sides), drivers side definitely wasn't tightened down enough, but the clunking is still going, I'll try to record it tonight after work.- DemonMudder

1997 Explorer SOHC code P0174
Well I hope yours ain't like my '99, it recurred on mine for the longest time and I finally figured out that it's a leak in the intake manifold gasket. So I'm replacing that in a week or so, depends on when the parts come in. Hopefully yours is as simple as the O2 sensors, mine had to be a pain- DemonMudder

Solved Clunks While Turning Left?
Thanks for the suggestions, I'll check those out over the next couple days when I get some time. Really hope that it's just that and not a combination of more crap I have to fix. (Knowing my truck, it'll just throw something else new at me)- DemonMudder

Solved Clunks While Turning Left?
So my '99 Explorer XLT 4x4 ever since I got her back in 2019 has made a clunking on left turns now and then, usually not so much at lower speeds. I've replaced the cv axles which was believed to be the issue but it still does it. It's just a clunk, it's not affecting the steering or anything...- DemonMudder

Dashboard relight!
My '99 Explorer still has the stock bulbs in the dashboard, though the left side has an issue, burnt out or electrical issues since the fuel and temp guages aren't lit. But otherwise they work just fine, I have debated on replacing them with LEDs though, already did that to all of the exterior...- DemonMudder

'99 Explorer XLT Update & Odd Questions
Finally got my light bar in and placed, looking great so far. Switched all of the exterior lights but the headlights and high beams with LED's. Next step is fixing a leak in the intake gasket manifold which is on it's way. As well as some warrior 153 shackles on the way to get a simpler lift for...- DemonMudder

For now, the stock like 200 hp, I haven't done much upgrading in performance yet. Mostly I'm just making sure she runs without issues.
