    302 IAC location...?

...perhaps a Range Rover style, operable vent on the side...? The louvers, btw would not be seen..."under the scoop." Check the pic of "the sport" and look at the hood. It is sort of a two part cowl hood when installed backwards.:)

    302 IAC location...?

regards the insulation...a product like dynamat IS part of the the answer...! I found a very similar product that I'm going to try its called EZ Cool. It's is a 3/16" closed-cell polyethylene foam core with 99% pure polished aluminum facings on both sides. The good thing is, its cost a 4' x...

    302 IAC location...?

hey wood1, thanks for the reply... the reason for the relocate is that the top of the IAC comes in to contact with the underside of hood insulation...rubbed a big hole. I may be pickin' fly shi* out of pepper, but it bugs me to see the nice clean insulation all "tore up" when the hood is...

hey little x...thanks for the input. I'll check with a local 4x4 shop that lifts the BIG trucks. They will be able to help I'm sure. Now I'm working DJM to get the right length shocks...hopefully I can get some ride quality back! Here is the pic...the "sport" is already lowered.

'94 Limited fog lights on a '91 sport...

I ended up buying them on amazon.com. Do a search on amazon.com for "bosch scout fog lamps" Their part number is 0305555901. It is just for the light kit it IS NOT for the brackets. If you want the oem brackets you need to find a donor Exp.front valance that had the lights in it and get the...

    basic starter question...

my 1st gen. "sport" has a 302 and the starter has failed. Time to replace! With a standard 10k miles short block, I understand to be approx. 9.5:1, is there substantial cost effectiveness to using a hi torque starter as oppossed to a stock one? The delta is + $100...! Is it worth the...

jd4242, Thanks for the response and the sugestion! ...I have a '97 explorer rear that already has discs. From what I'm hearing, the proportioning valve needed for this is for the '97 and is accomplished in the MC. I believe that the "mushy" pedal is a failed MC...Everything else seems to...

    wider tires on the rear...

Iron Weasel, I appreciate the input. I understand that big spacers can create an issue with the wheel bearings being more stressed that they should be. I don't care for that option! Now, the idea of wider wheels is what I think would be the proper solution. Since I have Mustang "Bullit"...
