Believe me, I tried. Turning the bracket would push the holes for the Bull Bar to far apart or to close together. The only way I could see it working is to modify the current bracket or make a new one. Something I don't have the equipment to do.

They look GRRREAT. I hate to burst your bubble but is a 9 inch wide rim to much for 265/75R16 tire. What do you guys think? They would definitely look sweat so I hope I am wrong.

I dont know if your mount is exactly like my Westin bar but I would be careful with the sleeves on the bolts. You would create a situation were the longer bolt could rotate. Once the bolt rotates (bends) it could become weak and break. If you do it for looks you would be fine, but any pulling...

I only make 1 or 2 trips a year were I can get an accurate reading. Short 2 mile trips during the week, and 300 mile trips on the weekend that take me form 6,600 ft to 11,000 ft back down to 4,800 ft. I wish I have one of them trip computers. It would be fun to see what I get when I come down...

MPGs went from 18 to 16. Don't know how that compares to everyone else. Plus size tires will always get worse, but I am guessing that as they are designed for highway first the do better then offroad tires.

Wow, everyone thought I was nuts for taking my truck on Black Bear Pass. All that is is a few rocks here and there with one big drop off if you get stupid. I personally believe mud is a lot harder on a vehicle than bouncing over rocks. That Explorer is way to nice to drive through that mess...

I do like the way they look. Unfortunately I have spent a lot of money on ball joint and alignment issues. I think it is putting to much pressure on them. I guess my offroad activities this summer could be partially to blame, but I really had no problem until the new rims.

Well, I can't speak for Tbars Ranger but my rims give me that offset. I really like the stability on the highway, but i wish they stuck out about half as much.

Ben, I still think you have the sickest looking 3rd Gen on the site, but Donner is definitely giving you a run for the money. I think when you are both done you should come out to Colorado and do some posing.;) We could do a vote off/ pull off for it.
