Good info here. I am struggling with one stud right now. I have drilled into the top of the water pump and have squirted into that. Once I did that I have attempted to loosen/tighten the bolt and have been getting rusty pb-blaster in my hole. However it's still stuck and I am just waiting...

I will still be there. I plan on running easy/sight-seeing type of stuff. I may have an aggressive looking rig but it's probably not quite dialed in and this will be that trip.

I wish there was a nice way to "un-bolt" the entire front clip. Inner fenders and all. It just would make life so much easier at times.

I threw my 3rd shock out as soon as I brought mine home. Eventually the 8.8 will be gone too.

Having had both, I do like the V8 4-door for the older kids in the back. They kinda like it better too.

I am a pain in the butt here, but due to work and trying to get some dates locked up I am hoping we get this nailed down soon. June 1-3 is looking like its the slow winner so far. That works with me. :)

I like that way of thinking. I too do that at times. It's easier to get it done first then show it off later.

Just a torsion twist and some shackles for now. The future holds more but gathering parts. It will need some good amount of trimming to work the way I want. Those are 36x13.50x 17.

Got it, don't want to derail Brian's thread any further here. However good info! I will check all those areas out and probably spray them with something. Just today they were spraying salt everywhere cause there is a 10% chance of snow. However I don't really plan to drive this rig around daily.

Did you ever cut the front of the rear wheel wells out? How did you manage that part since the door is so close? Also did you ever put the front inner fenders back in?

I guess I meant using the mesh tape and bedliner underneath the headliner material where you would never see it. I am glad that you got it though!

What about a strange repair to it? Use something like mesh tape for drywall with something like that cheapo bedliner in a spray can that they sell at home depot? Together I would think that you could "glue" up the cracks and give the headliner a coating of a rubber like substance that would...

I never made it to the yard today. Ended up doing some framing in my basement instead. Half inside work that way. It's just plain hot! My Mounty didn't come with anything up top except the bolts sticking through.

I will be looking at a yard this weekend for some stuff. Last time I was there they had a mounty, I will have to see what they got this time.
