410Fortune 1988 Ford Bronco II Eddie Bauer 4x4

Do you think the dash out of a Bronco II or Ranger like yours would fit in a 98 Explorer/Mountaineer? I realize the windshield to dash might not be the best but I would be okay with that. I figure with all the times you have taken and put your stuff back together you might know. I sure like...

Keep us updated on the 203/205 doubler. I would like to see how this works out.

Betty's "I want to be a mule" progress log thread

So jealous of your progress. I get stuff done on mine and then it just sits. I get so busy with work and home improvement stuff that I just don't have the energy sometimes. One of these days we need a good Kansas gathering.

    Moab 2018 Dates June 1 - 3

Agh... Looks like we are out. I have to many projects going (Work and home) and just can't get my Mountaineer ready in time. That and I found out some frustrating news on the trailer I bought. It has some title issues that I need to work through. Hopefully next year I can make it again.

    Water pump bolts

Good info here. I am struggling with one stud right now. I have drilled into the top of the water pump and have squirted into that. Once I did that I have attempted to loosen/tighten the bolt and have been getting rusty pb-blaster in my hole. However it's still stuck and I am just waiting...

    Moab 2018 Dates June 1 - 3

I will still be there. I plan on running easy/sight-seeing type of stuff. I may have an aggressive looking rig but it's probably not quite dialed in and this will be that trip.

    1997 Ford Explorer - V8 - 5.0 - AWD

Great read on the Water pump. I plan to pull mine in the garage next weekend to start that. If only it would be warmer on the weekends!

    PLAN B Build

I wish there was a nice way to "un-bolt" the entire front clip. Inner fenders and all. It just would make life so much easier at times.

SOA: Don't lose your third shock & track bars!!! ***PICS***

I threw my 3rd shock out as soon as I brought mine home. Eventually the 8.8 will be gone too.

Betty's "I want to be a mule" progress log thread

I plan to cut my rockers off here soon like @Brian1 did. If you would like them you could have them! I feel they might have a bit of rust hiding inside though.

    Rear main seal on 5.0

Oh fun! Well this is an after-moab deal. It's just going to mark it's spot. It does get nasty breathing all that oil being baked off the exhaust pipes down there. LOL

    Rear main seal on 5.0

Is there a good write up on this? I can find them for the 4.0 but not the 5.0. Also since I have never dealt with an automatic transmission before when I drop that what is the procedure? Is it like a manual will the torque converter be on the back of the motor or stay with the trans? This is...

    Adventure Camping build

If when you get that 205 up in there be sure to take some pics of how you fit it. I probably will go with a 4406 at first with mine just cause it has been done but I am sure I will want some extra gearing that the 205/doublers can offer later

    Adventure Camping build

Having had both, I do like the V8 4-door for the older kids in the back. They kinda like it better too.

    Moab 2018 Dates June 1 - 3

I am a pain in the butt here, but due to work and trying to get some dates locked up I am hoping we get this nailed down soon. June 1-3 is looking like its the slow winner so far. That works with me. :)

    Moab 2018 Dates June 1 - 3

I plan to be there. I am gathering parts slowly to get it so I can do the easy stuff. :)

    RJ's B2 Build

Very nice! I will have to check those out. Are the bolts/screws included with them?

    What are those flares for?

    The Black Hole

I like that way of thinking. I too do that at times. It's easier to get it done first then show it off later.
