Wanted Help on finding lift kit

Im trying to get into the offroad world, and Im not very educated on what kits or parts I can put on my 97 Eddie Bauer 5.0 AWD Explorer. I've been looking and I really can't find anything that says it fits it. I would like to find a 2.5 to 4 inch kit to put on it. Does anybody know what lift kit I can put on it and where I can find one for a cheap price? Im in college so I need a reliable budget lift.

The PA 853 or 883 most of us use should work for you. Here's a great how to on that, http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=240957. Lots of us have used that here, and it's advertised as a Ranger kit.

And then work the heck out of that search feature. The upside of this place, after so many years and with so many members, is that there's almost no question about a 97 Ex that you can ask that someone else hasn't asked before. Do some digging, and you'll find your answers. If you can't, ask, and folks here will help.
